Last rounds today and Prize Giving Ceremony

Today we fly the last rounds up to round 23 in Dranske at the Turbulator. Because of technical preparation of the Prize Giving Ceremony this afternoon we have only Off-Line Cameras an the Slope. This last rounds you can see today between 15:00 und 18:00 as Replay Recording.

18:00 we will transmitt the Prize Giving Ceremony and Parts of the Closing Ceremony as Livestream "live".

Wir sind heute nur mit Offline-Cameras am Hang, um die letzten Runden dieser WM einzufangen. Wir senden diese dann ab 15:00 Uhr als Aufzeichnung vor der Siegerehrung und Abschlusszeremonie, die wir ab 18:00 Uhr  hier live senden.

Thanks to the help of our main sponsor HORIZON HOBBY, we will be live-streaming HD-quality video of the Aeromodelling World Championship for the first time. The video will be transmitted live via satellite from the competition site and then be broadcast to up to 20,000 viewers online. The F3F class is almost predestined for this new medium, due to the fact that the competition flights occur in a very limited airspace. The images will be captured by three cameras set up on the slope, then composited in our broadcasting vehicle with ongoing information before being broadcast over the internet. Naturally, the opening ceremony and awards ceremonies will be broadcast as well. We can’t wait for the response this project receives from the aeromodelling community. Weltpremiere für Modellflug-Weltmeisterschaften!

Dank der Hilfe unseres Hauptsponsors HORIZON HOBBY sind wir in der Lage, erstmals eine Modellflug-Weltmeisterschaft als Video-Livestream in HD-Qualität im Internet zu übertragen. Die Übertragung erfolgt vom Wettbewerbsort via Satellit und über das Internet an bis zu 20.000 Zuschauer gleichzeitig. Die Klasse F3F ist aufgrund der Tatsache, dass sich die Wettbewerbsflüge in einem sehr begrenzten Luftraum abspielen, geradezu prädestiniert für dieses neue Medium. Die Bilder werden durch drei am Hang eingesetzte Kameras eingefangen und im Ü-Wagen mit laufend eingeblendeten Informationen gemischt, bevor sie auf den „Sender“ gehen. Natürlich werden auch die Eröffnungsveranstaltung und die Siegerehrung übertragen. Wir sind gespannt, welche Resonanz das Projekt in der Szene findet.
